Beauty: Treat that winter skin now

Yves Rocher elixir 7.9 and Mekar products. Treat winter skin

Winter is never easy on our skin and we sometimes wonder why. When have we messed with winter to deserve this? Have we said something to deserve all of this dryness and redness? We will never know. Fortunately, there are some amazing products out there that can help you skin stay smooth and healthy during the cold. Here are my 4 favorites:

1. Yves Rocher Elixir 7.9 Roll-On. Apply it over your dark circles to give a instant glow to your eyes. It is by far my favorite of the 7.9 collection, because you can see results right after the first application.  2. Yves Rocher Elixir 7.9 Night Cream. A great night cream that nourishes the skin while you sleep. Use it everyday to say adios to the dryness.  3. Mekar hydrating cream. I use it when I need an instant fix, like when I just went outside for too long and my skin is very dry.  4. Mekar Protection serum. Mekar is a brand made by Quebecois and for the Quebecois, so they basically know what it is like to live in the North pole (or, as we call it, Canada). I tried that serum because I was curious and I am now totally hooked. At first, applying oil on my face seemed a little weird, but the results where so great that I am now wondering how could I ever have lived without this product for the past 25 winters. Use it when your skin is really tired and dry.

  • Oh my goodness, I have been slathering myself with every known moisturizer lately, my skin gets so sad and dry in the winter. I love baby oil post-showers and some new products I got from l’occitane en provence but I am intrigued by that quebec-made serum! Might have to give it a go

I want to try some serum, but my face is pretty sensitive, even tho this one sounds amazing.
